Rangoli is art of decorating floors/verandhas and various spaces in the house or temples on auspicious occasions. This is done free hand and usually no tool is used for this.
I started making rangoli when I was in college but as I was self taught the outcome wasn't good.
Then in 2010,I got inspired by my neighbor who makes these beautiful designs. She gave me some tips on how to keep the designs neat and make different shapes...and I think I have improved over the years.
